This Privacy Policy explains how TELEMATIC PRO S.R.L. ("we", "us", "our", "TelematicPro") collects, uses, stores, and protects information in connection with the Fleetz mobile application and the Fleetz fleet-management platform (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Fleetz is a business-to-business (B2B) GPS fleet-tracking and management platform. The Service is provided to organizations ("Fleet Operators") that use it to monitor and manage their own vehicles and personnel. If you are an employee, driver, or authorized user accessing the Service through your organization, your organization is the controller of your data, and its own policies may also apply.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Profile Information

Name, email address, and phone number
Account credentials (passwords are stored in hashed, encrypted form)
Organization, branch, role, and assignment details
Driver details where applicable (e.g. employee ID, license information, assignment history) as entered by the Fleet Operator

Location Data

Real-time and historical GPS location of vehicles equipped with tracking hardware, including latitude, longitude, speed, heading, and timestamps
Trip routes, stops, idle periods, and related movement history
Geofence entry/exit events

Vehicle location data is generated by GPS tracking devices installed in vehicles by or on behalf of the Fleet Operator. The Fleetz mobile app displays this data to authorized users; it is used to operate the fleet-management Service.

Vehicle & Device Telemetry

Vehicle identifiers, plate numbers, make/model, odometer readings
Device telemetry such as ignition status, battery and power voltage, GSM signal strength, and satellite count
Maintenance, fuel, and toll/Salik records as entered or integrated by the Fleet Operator

Technical & Usage Information

Device type, operating system, and app version
Log data, diagnostic information, and crash reports used to maintain and improve the Service
Push notification tokens (where you enable notifications)

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the fleet-tracking and management Service
Display live and historical vehicle locations, trips, and reports to authorized users
Authenticate users and secure accounts
Send operational alerts and notifications (e.g. geofence, maintenance, or device-health alerts)
Generate analytics and reports for Fleet Operators
Diagnose technical issues, prevent abuse, and improve the Service
Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use vehicle location data for advertising.

3. Location Permissions

The Fleetz mobile app may request access to your device's location to center the map on your position and to support navigation features. Vehicle tracking itself does not depend on your phone's location — it comes from the installed GPS hardware. You can grant or revoke device location permission at any time in your device settings; revoking it only affects map-centering and navigation convenience features.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

Within your organization: data is visible to authorized users of your Fleet Operator according to their roles and permissions.
Service providers: we use trusted infrastructure and processing providers (e.g. hosting, mapping, and reverse-geocoding services) that process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal and location data for as long as necessary to provide the Service to the Fleet Operator, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods for vehicle and trip history are configured according to the Fleet Operator's contract and applicable law. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized.

6. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted connections (TLS), encrypted credential storage, access controls, and tenant isolation in our multi-tenant architecture. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and applicable UAE data-protection law), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because your organization is typically the controller of the data, please direct such requests to your organization in the first instance; we will assist Fleet Operators in fulfilling these requests. 8. International Data Transfers

TELEMATIC PRO S.R.L. is registered in Romania and provides services to customers including in the United Arab Emirates. Your information may be processed and stored in data centers located in the European Union or other jurisdictions. Where data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from

children under the age of 16.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
